PROVIDING MEETING SPACE

In the year 2000, Good Shepherd, valuing tradition but with an eye toward the future, completed a major building renovation program to meet the needs of an evolving congregation and community. This resulted in a new addition, a refurbished sanctuary, handicapped-accessible entrances and two main floor washrooms.

Today, we provide meeting space for the following:

• C.A.P.S. (Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy - Beat 0811 Meetings)
• Girl Scout Troop
• Brownie Troop
• Four Narcotics Anonymous Groups

Directions Good Shepherd is located near 56th Street and Merrimac Avenue. Taking Archer Avenue or 55th Street, turn south onto Merrimac Avenue. We are located at 5550 S. Merrimac, which is near the end of the block on the west side of the street. It's easy to spot our beautiful, modern building. Our parking lot has 20 spaces with 3 set aside for handicapped parking. There is also ample parking on both Merrimac Avenue and 56th Street.
